"Ballers Academy" refers to Ballers Academy and its coaches, employees, volunteers and authorised representatives.
"Programme" refers to any activity organised or delivered by Ballers Academy, including but not limited to Academy Programmes, Holiday Camps, Performance Camps, Foundation Programmes, events, workshops and other coaching activities.
"Participant" refers to the child or young person registered to attend a Programme.
"Parent/Guardian" refers to the person responsible for completing the booking and accepting these Terms and Conditions.
A completed registration form and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is required to secure a place on any Programme.
Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Submission of a registration form or booking request does not guarantee a place until the booking has been accepted by Ballers Academy.
For paid Programmes, a place is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
For Foundation Programmes and other free activities, a place is confirmed once registration has been accepted by Ballers Academy.
Once confirmed, the place is reserved exclusively for the Participant for the relevant Programme.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
Where a Parent/Guardian is entitled to cancel a booking under applicable consumer legislation, Ballers Academy will comply with its legal obligations.
Except where required by law, all bookings are final, non-refundable and non-transferable.
Academy Programmes are fixed-term coaching programmes delivered over the term specified at the time of booking.
By booking an Academy Programme, the Parent/Guardian is reserving a limited place for the full programme term.
Fees are charged for the reservation of that place and not solely for attendance at individual sessions.
Places are limited and staffing, venue hire and operational costs are committed based upon confirmed bookings.
Following confirmation of the booking, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law.
No refunds, credits, transfers, fee reductions, replacement sessions or extensions will be provided for missed sessions, illness, injury, holidays, withdrawal from the programme, change of circumstances or non-attendance for any reason.
Sessions missed by a Participant for any reason cannot be carried forward, transferred, exchanged or replaced.
Academy Programme places cannot be paused, frozen, carried forward or extended.
A Participant's inability or decision to attend some or all sessions does not affect the booking commitment for the full programme term.
Holiday Camps and Performance Camps operate on specific dates and have limited capacity.
Places are reserved exclusively for the Participant upon confirmation of the booking.
Fees are charged for the reservation of a place and to enable Ballers Academy to commit staffing, facilities and operational resources.
Following confirmation of the booking, fees are non-refundable and non-transferable except where required by law.
No refunds, credits, transfers, replacement days, fee reductions or extensions will be provided for illness, injury, holidays, non-attendance, withdrawal or any other personal circumstances.
Participants should not bring mobile phones, gaming devices or other electronic equipment unless required for an emergency or specifically authorised by Ballers Academy.
Foundation Programmes are provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
If a Participant can no longer attend, the Parent/Guardian should notify Ballers Academy as soon as possible.
Ballers Academy reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or reallocate a place where attendance is consistently poor, sessions are repeatedly missed without notice, or continued participation is not considered to be in the best interests of the Programme.
Ballers Academy reserves the right to amend, suspend or discontinue any Foundation Programme where funding, venue availability, staffing or operational circumstances require.
Participants are expected to attend all booked sessions wherever possible.
Where a Participant fails to attend all or part of a Programme, camp, event or activity, no refund, credit, transfer, replacement session or extension will be provided except where required by law.
A late collection fee of £25 may be charged where a Participant is not collected promptly at the end of a session, camp or event.
Where additional staffing or supervision costs exceed £25, Ballers Academy reserves the right to recover reasonable additional costs incurred.
Participants, Parents/Guardians and spectators are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, coaches, volunteers, officials, other participants and partner organisations at all times.
Ballers Academy reserves the right to suspend or remove any Participant whose behaviour is considered inappropriate, unsafe, disruptive, abusive or contrary to the values of the organisation.
Ballers Academy reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any Participant, Parent/Guardian or spectator whose behaviour is considered abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intimidating or otherwise inappropriate.
No refund, credit or transfer will be provided where a Participant is suspended or removed, except where required by law.
Parents/Guardians must disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries or additional needs that may affect participation.
Ballers Academy may, at its sole discretion and without creating any obligation or precedent, consider requests for a refund, credit or transfer in exceptional circumstances.
There is no automatic entitlement to a refund, credit or transfer and any decision made by Ballers Academy shall be final.
Ballers Academy may take photographs and video recordings during Programmes for coaching, safeguarding, promotional, marketing and educational purposes.
Parents/Guardians who do not wish their child to appear in photographs or video recordings must notify Ballers Academy in writing before participation.
Consent preferences may be updated at any time by notifying Ballers Academy in writing.
Participants are advised not to bring valuables, cash, jewellery, mobile phones, smart watches, tablets, gaming devices, electronic equipment or other personal belongings to any Programme unless absolutely necessary.
Participants attending Holiday Camps and Performance Camps should not bring mobile phones, gaming devices or other electronic equipment unless required for an emergency or specifically authorised by Ballers Academy.
Any personal property brought to a Programme remains entirely at the owner's risk.
Ballers Academy accepts no responsibility or liability for the loss, theft, damage or misplacement of any personal property, including electronic devices, whether such items are left unattended, stored on site or brought onto any venue used by Ballers Academy.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring that Participants do not bring unnecessary valuables to sessions, camps or events.
Ballers Academy reserves the right to make reasonable changes to venues, coaches, session content, dates, times, schedules or programme structure where necessary for operational, staffing, facility, safety or other legitimate reasons.
Ballers Academy shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, interruption or failure to perform its obligations where such circumstances arise from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, flooding, fire, venue closure, industrial action, utility failure, public health restrictions, government action, epidemic, pandemic or other unforeseen events.
Ballers Academy may, at its discretion, offer an alternative session, credit or suitable replacement where reasonably practicable but shall not be obliged to provide a refund unless required by law.
Ballers Academy may work alongside partner clubs, schools, venues, local authorities and other organisations.
Such organisations operate independently and may have their own policies, procedures and requirements.
Parents/Guardians must provide accurate emergency contact information and notify Ballers Academy of any changes as soon as possible.
Ballers Academy reserves the right to refuse participation where information required for safe participation has not been provided.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to applicable law, Ballers Academy's total liability arising from any Programme shall not exceed the amount paid by the Parent/Guardian for the relevant Programme.
Any decision by Ballers Academy not to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions on a particular occasion shall not prevent Ballers Academy from enforcing that provision or any other provision in the future.
By completing registration, making payment or permitting a Participant to attend a Programme, the Parent/Guardian confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to the Ballers Academy Terms and Conditions. I understand that programme places are limited and reserved upon confirmation of booking and that, except where required by law, bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
